Standard Application Deadlines

All applications and payments are due by the standard application deadline and airfare prices will only be guaranteed until this date:

Summer Programs: March 15th & May 15th *will depend on the program

Winter Programs: November 15th

*Your university may have earlier internal deadlines, please contact IBS for more information

Payment Plans

According to the Institute of International Education, the number one reason students don’t study abroad is due to the cost. IBS understands the importance of financial planning and that it needs to start early. That is why IBS offers both short and long-term payment plan options that allow you to pay for your program costs on a monthly basis prior to the seminar you want to attend.

Our payment plans are flexible, you can pay as much or as little as you want per month. The goal is that our plans allow you to budget accordingly to pay the seminar costs in smaller, monthly payments instead of having to pay the full amount at once. Plus, IBS will apply any scholarships you receive for your program at any time and all of your money is refundable until 60 days prior to your seminar start date.

*IBS payment plans are only offered for programs open to all university students in good academic standing. IBS payment plans aren’t valid for students at institutions where they have to pay their study abroad program fees through their university.

Extended Application Deadlines

If IBS extends the application deadline past the standard application deadline, all program fees are due immediately. Students will be quoted current airfare costs once the program is paid in full.

WithdrawAl Date

Students may withdraw from their program, with a full refund, at least 60 days prior to the program departure date. All money is non-refundable past the withdrawal date.
